Hard Week So Far...but Thankful
After being at Hume. in the majestic mountains, this last weekend (we all had a fantastic time), we are now in the valley in more ways than geographically. The kids love Hume, miss Hume, are grieving the loss of "normal" life, so if you think of us, will you pray that the peace of the Lord would reign in the Downs home as some of the kids are sad or angry? Would you ask the Lord to deepen our love for Him through this hard week and increase our faith and as parents that the Lord would give us His supernatural wisdom? I am thankful for each of you who I know loves us and lifts us up to Jesus.

aaaaahhhhhhhh friend, I am so sorry you guys are having a hard time. I thought the trip might be bitter sweet. I will pray for your house tonight. We love you tons and lift you up often. I will pray for wisdom as you lay the needs of each of your kids at his feet.

Hello Sweetheart! I got your message last night and wished I'd been home. Then read your blog, while drinking my mornng coffee (wishing you were here to enjoy a cup with me). I am soooo praying for your precious family. I can understand the struggle. We as a family will be praying for your family. I love you so!

Sorry I haven't read your blog until now. I am so sorry to hear of the struggle. We will be praying for you and your kids. Please let me know if there is anything I can do. I am planning on Ash and Ky spending the weekend here still. I think Megan and JuJu are planning to stay with you.
Last weekend was bittersweet, we miss you and your family terribly. I treasure the moments we get together and am so thankful that you are a part of our lives.
